What is this?
In this presentation I will go over the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA).
The what, why and how to report. Answering why this is a new requirement for business and who needs to file. I will discuss the filing requirements, the exemptions and how to file the Beneficial Ownership Information(BOI) report. Also answering the questions what are the civil and criminal penalties for violating the CTA. I will also include the court case in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama in NSBA v. Yellen ruled that the CTA in unconstitutional. What does this court case mean for reporting?
